Venture
Ventures begin with knowing the problem from inside the work
Making a product has become easier. Understanding a problem from inside the work it belongs to has not.
The same problem recurs in places that never meet
A small hotel, a gym and a news portal can all lose people without knowing why. Whoever has seen it from inside one recognises it sooner in the others.
Founders who know the problem from inside the function
Building is now within anyone's reach. What stays rare is knowing, from inside a function, where the same problem keeps recurring in places that never meet.
A proposed offer. Patterns are shared only with students' consent, anonymised and pooled; no person's or workplace's records leave aith.si.
People who know a trade decide what a tool becomes
The refrigerator was made to keep food at home. The industries that grew around it, milk carried from farms to cities, vaccines kept safe over long journeys, fish and flowers sent to distant markets, were built by people who knew those trades and saw what cold could do for them. AI stands at the same point. When a product is easy to make, the scarce part of a venture is knowing which problem is worth solving and why the obvious answer fails, and that knowledge forms in every subject.
Where it begins
On a first day with us, a student sees AI attempt a task from their own field, from pharmacy and logistics to law and agriculture, and learns where its answer falls short. That gap is often where a venture starts.
Founders worth backing know the problem first
We welcome investors and mentors who judge founders by their grasp of a problem rather than the polish of a product.
Our position
We hold that what students learn and make is theirs, and that a venture is only as sound as its founder’s grasp of the problem.
